Please refer to Are tests for smartphones possible? for details such as the differences between these environments.
This article also explains how to record for mobile.
List of execution environment for mobile
As of August 21, 2020, executable environments are as described below:
"Emulator (Rapid execution)" uses DevTools on DeviceMode. This is available on all plans. "Mobile (Real device)" and "Tablet (Real device)" use real iOS and Android devices.
Numbers such as "13" written on the right side of the device name is the OS version. The OS version is not listed in "Emulator (rapid execution)" because it is not running on a mobile device.
The browser that the OS uses by default will be used.
iOS
Although it is possible to run the test in any of the available options,
due to technical restrictions, iOS 11 and 10 are not covered by the operation guarantee.
Before using this product, please be aware that some operations may be unstable.
For example, it is known that that switching windows on iOS 11 and earlier will result in a failure, and we currently do not have any plans to fix this issue.
